Gwent Memorials, established in 1991, have over the last 35 years become one of the most trusted memorial masons in South East Wales. We provide a personal service to the bereaved, giving sensitive help and advice where needed and, at the same time, providing beautifully designed high-quality memoral stones, kerb sets, cremation tablets, adding inscriptions to memorials and the restoring and cleaning of older headstones and other memorials.
We liaise with Churches, Chapels and local councils on clients’ behalf so that they are assured that all memorial applications are completed correctly and the memorial complies with the sizes required in the Churchyard or Cemetery.

We gives families’ assurance that all our memorials are correctly fitted to British Standard BS8415.
This is a standard that has been developed by the masonry trade and has become the British Standard for the installation of headstones and memorials.
All BRAMM accredited companies must have the appropriate insurances and give a guarantee of the stability of their memorials.
As part of their BRAMM accreditation, memorial installers must undergo regular, continuous, professional development (CPD).

Children’s memorials
As a family orientated company, Gwent Memorials take great care and compassion when assisting a parent who has lost a child by suggesting suitable memorials and producing be-spoke designs such as the reproduction of the baby’s hand resting on that of Mum and Dad as can be seen on the photo.
Help is given with writing suitable inscriptions, letter style, design and choice of colour of stone, all of which can all be adapted to give comfort to bereaved parents.
